CLASS ACTIVITY 5
A GOOD EVALUATION
- Validity: A valid evaluation is one which
actually measures the behavior described by the objective(s); under scrutiny
the teachers should known firstly the level of pre-knowledge of their students.
-Reliability: Is when
the evaluation produces the same result under different but comparable
conditions. The evaluation should reflect the objectives. A valid test includes
reliability but a reliable test sometimes is not necessarily valid.
-Practicability: procedure of evaluation should be
realistic, practical and efficient according to the reality of the context in
which evaluation takes place.
-Fairness: it refers that the teacher must tell the
student what kind of test he is going to use and how they are going to be
evaluated.
